The Thoreau Edit

Our company (name inspired by famous American essayist and poet, Henry David Thoreau)  aims to deliver a service that will strengthen the writing skills and abilities of elementary and high-school students from different areas of Australia.

 

We have observed the rising demand for a greater calibre of writing in Australian students. With the ever changing education systems pouncing new NAPLAN and HSC policies on today’s students, our website, The Thoreau Edit, hopes to provide some relief from the stress of these growing demands.

 

Our mission is to help student’s ( Year 2 to Year 12) improve their writing skills, develop more distinct styles and give them a space to compare their work with each other to reach higher standards.
